Stephane Janssen, now 80, has been posing nude in public for Spencer Tunick’s individual portraits and group installations for the past 15 years, and amassing the largest collection of Tunick’s works. This book chronicles that collection, from the first time Mr. Janssen posed in 2000 in Harlem, NY with 25 people, to his latest installation, where he was painted head to toe in red and gold body paint with over one thousand other painted people on the streets of Munich, Germany.
Mr. Janssen’s personal collection of Tunick’s photographs were on display from Jan 14 – May 28, 2016 at the ASU Art Museum.
